Ebtron Airflow Temperature Measurement Devices (ATMD) employ Thermal
Dispersion Technology that relates the velocity of the air to the power and rise in temperature of a heated element in a moving air stream. EBTRON uses precision, bead-in-glass thermistor probes to measure the airflow rate and air temperature. Multiple sensing points are used to produce an average velocity for true volumetric airflow (CFM/LPS). Each individual sensor node is calibrated to NIST traceable airflow standards at 16 points, resulting in a sensor accuracy of 2% of reading. Chiller / Boiler Plant Optimization Systems
Tekworx offers direct and supervisory control for hydronic optimization. Direct is a full I/O system that ties into the BAS to exchange data for logging, trending, and other verification information. The Supervisory installation is designed for applications in which the existing control system is functional but fails to provide energy optimization and in applications sensitive to disruption, such as data centers. Centrifugal Separators

Sand Filters

Cooling Towers
Cooling towers reject heat from water-cooled systems to the atmosphere. Hot water from the system enters the cooling tower and is distributed over the fill (heat transfer surface). Air is induced or forced through the fill, causing a small portion of the water to evaporate. This evaporation removes heat from the remaining water, which is collected in the cold water basin and returned to the system to absorb more heat. Each cooling tower line, although operating under the same basic principle of operation, is arranged a little differently.
Closed Circuit Cooling Towers
Closed circuit cooling towers operate in a manner similar to open cooling towers, except that the heat load to be rejected is transferred from the process fluid (the fluid being cooled) to the ambient air through a heat exchange coil. The coil serves to isolate the process fluid from the outside air, keeping it clean and contaminate-free in a closed loop. This creates two separate fluid circuits: (1) an external circuit, in which spray water circulates over the coil and mixes with the outside air, and (2) an internal circuit, in which the process fluid circulates inside the coil. During operation, heat is transferred from the internal circuit, through the coil to the spray water, and then to the atmosphere as a portion of the water evaporates.
Evaporative Condensers
Evaporative condensers provide heat rejection for many types of systems, and the specific application will largely determine which BAC Evaporative Condenser is best suited for a project. BAC offers the most complete line of evaporative condenser products in the world. Evaporative condensers are used in these markets to provide lower condensing temperatures and compressor horsepower savings of up to 15 percent when compared with traditional systems. With over 70 years of experience designing and manufacturing evaporative condensers, BAC has a unit to meet your application.
Hybrid Evaporative Systems
Hybrid products provide the best of both worlds, wet and dry cooling, in a single compact and cost-effective unit. The hybrid products offered by BAC provide low process temperatures while optimizing energy and water efficiency.
Remote Sump Tanks
Remote sump tanks can be added to cooling tower, closed circuit cooling tower, or evaporative condenser systems. Remote sump tanks are often installed indoors in a heated space to prevent freezing of the recirculating water during cold weather operation. Because the recirculating water is quickly drained from the unit when the pump is shut off, the indoor remote sump tank eliminates the need for other methods of freeze protection, such as cold water basin heaters, hot water or steam coils, or steam injectors. Remote sump tanks are also used to simplify water treatment for multiple cell installations by providing a single location for monitoring water quality. BAC’s RS Remote Sump Tanks are available in a variety of sizes in galvanized steel or with a thermosetting hybrid polymer.

Silencer Systems
IAC Acoustics rectangular and cylindrical duct attenuators provide effective, predictable noise reduction at substantial savings over other noise reduction methods because IAC products are laboratory-developed and tested under controlled conditions. Moreover, we manufacture duct silencers to specific metal tolerances and with controlled acoustic infill flow resistances to achieve consistent results.
Chilled Beams

Replacement Induction Units
Many older buildings are now in need of updating. Ice Thermal Storage
Cooling with ice thermal storage can be the most cost-effective, reliable system approach to cooling offices, schools, hospitals, malls, convention centers, sporting arenas, and other buildings. With thousands of successful installations worldwide, BAC is the global leader in the application of ice thermal storage. Thermal storage can be used for district cooling, as utilized by downtown Chicago, or specific process cooling applications due to the ability to constantly supply 34°F water. During the night, when utility rates are at their lowest, cold glycol runs through the piping in the storage tank, causing ice to form around the pipes. Then during the day, warm water from the building runs through the tank, being cooled by the ice formed in the tank around the pipes. These systems are environmentally friendly because they help lower energy consumption and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
